Become a FAN!

Since half the World is now connected through Facebook, you can now show your friends your love for Missa by Design by becoming a fan on the official page on Facebook.

CLICK HERE & tell your friends to do the same.

Plus, it's another way for you to keep updated on all that's going on in my design world.

I promise that sometime soon, one-of-a-kind pieces will be up for sale.

I'm working on some custom items for someone right now, but if you really want something designed by Missa almost instantly, check out the graphics on tees & other great stuff in the store.

Also, I'm still strongly considering selling the rose coin purses, so I'll have some of those up for grabs within the next few weeks.

Only two days are left to turn in your ideas for the 2nd DIY video.

If you guys don't tell me what you want to see,
then I'll be forced to do whatever my brain comes up with...
and that could be frightening.

haha.

So let me know by January 30th, what you want!

Roise Coin Purse

So, I made this lovely coin purse in the shape of a rose earlier.

I'm thinking of possibly making more & selling them if anyone would be interested in purchasing one. (or two.. maybe even three. your call. haha)

The colors are this pink you see, a deeper pink, yellow, & orange.

It'd only be a couple of dollars. I'll work out exact pricing if I get any takers.

I think it's so adorable looking.

I'm going to gather all the change from the bottom of my bag and stick it in this cute little thing.

That way, whenever I need change, I'm not taking forever to find it. Even worse, not using the change at all... and it just keeps building and building, with no place to go.

So sad. haha.

Remember,
you still have until January 30th to submit your ideas for the next DIY/Fashion video.

Get to it!

Golden Globes Fashion Reaction

The part of any awards show I'm always anxious to see is the red carpet. This year at the 2009 Golden Globes was no exception.

Overall, everyone looked good. I felt that a lot of people played it on the safer side, though.

The big trends I saw was a numeral-beige/silver color, chunky necklaces/big earrings, and a lot of strapless, full-length gowns.

Heidi Klum was one of the few exceptions to the full-length trend I saw, although her dress could've done without the huge flower that looked like she plucked it from one of the red carpet floral arrangements and pinned it to her waist.

Dior made multiple appearances, with five different actresses sporting the designer's gowns, including Eva Mendez, Demi Moore, Drew Barrymore, Salma Hayek, and Sandra Bullock.

One of my favorites for the night was Kate Beckinsale, following the neutral trend, but the detail at the top of the bodice is what really made it stand out to me from all the others.

Who were your picks for the hits & misses on the red carpet, and what trends do you expect to see on Oscar night?

Happy 2009!

It is officially the fifth day of the new year, 2009!

Let's make this a great year for everyone.

Isn't the ball that drops in Times Square absolutely breathtaking? Imagine a dress inspired by that.

I just wanted to make this quick post to wish you a allwonderful-tastic new year.

That's all for now.
