NYC Fashion Week Part 1

New York Fashion Week is in full swing! I'm here to bring you some of the trends seen thus-far from the designers whose creations have graced the runways these past few days.

Pink is a big trend seen for Spring 2011.

Designers like DKNY, Marc Jacobs, and Monique Lhuillier all followed this color trend. There was also a mix of oranges and reds thrown into the color scheme.

Neutrals are a big trend for this fall-- but expect to see a lot of them around this upcoming spring too. Rebecca Taylor, Donna Karen, and Preen all had collections filled with neutral shades.

Metallics seem to be sticking around as well- although for the spring, they are mostly being done in a softer tone.

One last trend I started to see was a cut-out/keyhole design on dresses. Monique Lhuillier, Max Azria, and Carolina Herrera all added this element to some of their pieces.

Check back later this week for even more coverage from fashion week!
