I'm probably not alone in thinking about the past nine years that have-- day by day-- made up what we know as our lives today.This past year has been especially astonishing to me and has proven even more that when you set goals for yourself-- even if they seem like you'll never really achieve them-- you can really make your dreams a reality.
I can think back to this day last year and remember sitting down and writing out a list of things I wanted to work towards in 2009. Not all of them were achieved--- but so many were. Dreams that seemed so unrealistic and impossible came true. Amazing things I hadn't even dreamed up happened. It's good to set goals, but you also have to be accepting of the unexpected-- because sometimes the things you don't plan for actually end up being exactly what you need.
I'm looking forward to this new year that also leads us into a brand new decade. It's so exciting to think of how many great changes will be brought about and how many bigger dreams we can go for.
Remember: Always dream bigger than yourself.
