I was able to be at the 2011 Fall Ready-to-Wear show for Project Runway alum Daniel Vosovic last night and just wanted to make a quick blog about what I saw at the show.
The runway was simple, with fall leaves scattered all over the floor. The leaves had originally filled the entire runway, but were later pushed to the side to prevent any models from slipping on them.
His collection had sort of a Victorian-prairie look. I especially liked the leather bonnets he used throughout the show.
I saw some fantastic drop-pleat dresses and draped creations (like the middle dress seen in this photo). Continuing with the fur trend we saw last fall, he had a couple of fur pieces in the collection as well.
There also was some incredible back detailing on a few of the outfits that I wish I had photos of.
Overall, a great experience and show. I've adored Daniel since seeing him on Project Runway and it's great to see he's still going strong in the world of design.
